These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zippy platform. By using Zippy, you agree to these Terms.
1. Platform Role
Zippy is a marketplace that connects customers with independent Service Providers for home services. Zippy does not employ Service Providers and is not responsible for the actual performance of services. Service Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Zippy.
2. Booking and Payment
- Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable charges and are subject to change.
- Payment is processed at the time of booking via the app (online payment or cash).
- Cancellation and refund policies are communicated at the time of booking.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Zippy acts solely as an intermediary marketplace. We are not liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising from services performed by Service Providers.
- Zippy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of property, personal injury, or damage to belongings.
- Any disputes regarding the quality of services should be resolved directly between the customer and the Service Provider, though Zippy may assist in facilitating resolution at its discretion.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
4. User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate booking and contact information.
- You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the service location.
- You must treat Service Providers with respect.
- You must not use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
5. Service Provider Disclaimer
Zippy screens Service Providers but does not guarantee or warrant the quality, safety, or legality of services provided. Customers engage Service Providers at their own risk.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on the Platform are owned by Zippy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, UAE.
